RESIDENT POLL REGARDING PREFERRED CONDITIONS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PUD AMENDMENT TO THE PROPOSED PRATT CONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT AT 6107 HIXSON PIKE

This is a poll designed to show, in order of ranked importance to residents, the desired conditions to the proposed Pratt Construction Development site at 6107 Hixson Pike.

The desired conditions answers are from residents of Valleybrook / Windbrook / Tuscany Place and concerned residents of the Hixson community.

Click each condition on the poll form at the bottom of this page that corresponds to the following descriptions of what is most important to you. You may choose multiple answers.

CONDITION 1.  Plant large Evergreen Trees (or something similar to create a buffer) in the back and the sides of the development adjacent to homes on Windbrook Lane, Innisbrook Drive, and Tuscany Place.

CONDITION 2. In the site plan presented to the Valleybrook Community during the community meeting with Pratt, the trash collection facilities were located right next to homes on Tuscany Place and Innisbrook Ln.  The trash facilities will be unsightly, noisy, and smelly.  They should be moved towards the southwest corner, nearer the commercial development and Church.

CONDITION 3.  The dog park, while a nice amenity, is proposed right next to homes on Tuscany Place and Innisbrook Drive.  We ask that they be moved to the southwest corner near the area we proposed for the trash collection facilities.

CONDITION 4. Several homes have over five (5) feet of dirt up against their privacy fences from the elevation increase at the site.  The site needs to be lowered as it slopes towards these homes.   

CONDITION 5. There continue to be ongoing water issues from the construction on the site that causes flooding issues from water runoff for homes in that area.  The flooding needs to be remedied. 

CONDITION 6. The development needs to include city-owned streets, not privately owned streets.

CONDITION 7. The homes in the development should have one-car garages instead of a detached garage. 

A ranking list by percentage of votes for each answer chosen will be generated from the poll showing which conditions are most important to the residents of Valleybrook / Windbrook / Tuscany Place and concerned residents of the Hixson community.
